I began painting Botanical watercolor 10 years ago. I enjoyed the exacting detail and level attention needed in the painting. I have since painted more modern botanicals using colorful backgrounds and transparent paints due too the luminosity it creates. Attending classes at the Minnetonka Center the Arts has resulted in several juried art shows at the Center as well as the MN Landscape Arboretum and The MN Watercolor Society.
